Notes: English organist, harpsichordist, and conductor. In 1923 Arnold Goldsbrough joined the faculty of the Royal College of Music, and concurrently held various posts as an organist. In 1948 he founded his own orchestra in London, with which he devoted himself to the performance of early music. In 1960 the orchestra became the English Chamber Orchestra, which subsequently gained a distinguished reputation.
