| Notes: | English organist, choral conductor and composer. From 1961 he was Master of Music at Westminster Cathedral, then from 1981 he was the choral director at Radio Telefís Éireann. As a composer, his extensive output includes over 50 masses, five song cycles, a large number of settings for choir and two children’s operas. In 2004, he was awarded the Knighthood of St Gregory by Pope Benedict XVI. |
